Daycare and Boarding Requirements
Our Care Guidelines
To ensure the safety, health, and comfort of all the dogs in our care, we do have a few limitations on the types of pups we can welcome:
Spay/Neuter: We are unable to accept unaltered male or female dogs over 1 year of age.
Socialization: Pups must be able to happily participate in group play. Our private runs are currently fully booked for the foreseeable future.
Size & Breed: We are unable to accommodate some extra-large and giant breeds at this time (please feel free to ask us for specific details).
Behavior: For the safety of our team, we cannot accept pups with a history of reactivity or aggression toward people, including fear-based growling, lunging, or snapping.
Thank you for considering us for your dog care needs and please let us know if you have any questions at all—we look forward to hearing from you soon!
Thank you so much for your inquiry! We are currently accepting new dogs for daycare and boarding, pending a meet-and-greet. Here are the details on how our process works:
1. Step One: Vaccine Verification
Before scheduling your visit, please email your vaccine records to info@dogcaresc.com or text them to (831) 673-1206. Dogs must be current on:
Rabies
Distemper/Parvo (DHPP/DAPP)
Bordetella
Canine Influenza: Exceptions are only made for the meet and greet, first-time-stays, and in the event your dogs has had a poor reaction to the vaccine previously—requires a letter of excusal from your veterinarian. Ideally, we ask for the first dose to be completed prior to their first stay, and full vaccination as soon as possible.
2. Step Two: Meet & Greet
Once we review the records, we will send over dates for a meet-and-greet and property tour, which typically runs about 20-30 minutes. This is a great opportunity to assess your pup, show you our facility, and ensure we are the perfect fit for each other.
“Their attention to detail and commitment to quality truly stood out. We’ve already recommended them to others.”
