Message from our Trainer
Hello, I’m Kevin, the lead trainer at Desjardins Dog Care. With more than 30 years of experience working with a wide variety of animals, I have developed a deep understanding of animal behavior through decades of hands-on experience, careful observation, and continued learning. This extensive background has helped shape our Full-Spectrum Training Method, an individualized approach designed to recognize each dog’s unique temperament, learning style, and behavioral needs.
I hold a bachelor’s degree in Communications from California State University, Fresno. My educational background, combined with my extensive experience working with animals, allows me to communicate effectively with both dogs and their owners. I am passionate about applying scientifically supported training techniques, staying informed about evolving best practices, and helping owners develop the knowledge and skills necessary to build a stronger, more rewarding relationship with their dogs.
I am NePoPo® Gold certified and hold an e-collar training certification. These credentials reflect my commitment to continued education and professional development in canine training. My specialized e-collar training education supports an informed, systematic approach to its use, with an emphasis on proper technique, safety, timing, and an understanding of canine learning principles.
My philosophy is simple: effective training begins with understanding the individual dog. By combining experience, education, and a personalized approach, my goal is to help every dog and owner develop the skills, communication, and confidence needed to succeed together.
